Lake Purdy Bass Tournament Week 2 Recap: The Wolfe Pack Dominates

Week 2 of the Lake Purdy Bass Tournament series brought another night of fierce competition and thrilling catches. Anglers from far and wide gathered once again, eager to test their skills and vie for supremacy on the lake.

In a stunning display of skill and strategy, Mike Wolfe & Tyler Wolfe, better known as The Wolfe Pack, claimed 1st place with an impressive haul of 15.80lbs for 5 fish.
Their consistent performance and unwavering determination solidified their status as formidable competitors, setting a new standard for excellence.


Not to be outdone, Alex Smeraglia and Johnny Hill put up a valiant fight, securing 2nd place with a commendable 14.45lb bag of 5 fish.
The perseverance paid off as they also took home the title of Big Fish, reeling in a magnificent 5.88lb bass.

Rounding out the top three, Mike Forrester & Scotty Lewis secured 3rd place with 9.88lbs for 5 fish, showcasing their skill and determination in a highly competitive field.

With 12 entries in total, Week 2 was a testament to the growing popularity and excitement surrounding the tournament series.
Anglers from all backgrounds came together to celebrate their shared passion for fishing and compete for glory on the water.

Lake Purdy Bass Tournament Week 1 Recap: A Thrilling Start to the 2024 Series


The first week of the Lake Purdy Bass Tournament series kicked off with a bang, setting the stage for an exhilarating season ahead. Anglers from across the region gathered at the lake, eager to test their skills and compete for the title of champion.


In a night filled with anticipation and excitement, it was Alex Smeraglia & Johnny Hill who emerged victorious, securing 1st place with an impressive haul of 14.23lbs for 5 fish. Their strategic prowess and precision angling proved unbeatable, setting a high bar for the competition.


Not far behind, David Mcginnis & Lee Morgan claimed 2nd place honors, showcasing their talent with a solid catch of 11.56lbs for 5 fish. The competition remained fierce as the Bait Shop Bandits secured the 3rd place spot with 10.29lbs for 5 fish, demonstrating their unwavering determination.


However, the night belonged to Chris Wolfe, who reeled in the coveted title of Big Fish with an impressive 6.17lb Largemouth bass. His remarkable catch highlighted the potential for even greater feats in the weeks to come.
